p
p WARNING! Before using the tow hitch, read, understand and apply the following:
l DO NOT exceed the specified towed and towing vehicle weights.
l Not for use on cars or car-derived vans first registered on or after 1st August 1998.
l Using ball hitch
l Using pin hitch
Maximum weight of towed vehicle 1500kg.
Maximum weight of towed vehicle 3000kg.
Maximum weight of towing vehicle 3050kg.
l Never use without the towing pin and the security pin in place.
l Before each use, lightly grease the ball head and check the hitch for damage. If damage is found, rectify
before using the hitch.
l The ball hitch is designed for normal road use. If used off-road, where the angular movement between towing
and towed vehicles may be great, there is a risk of the female (socket) hitch fouling the neck of the ball and
causing damage. Therefore, for off-road use, it is recommended that the trailer is fitted with a ring hitch which
can then be coupled to the tow hitch pin.
