2. INTRODUCTION

responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING! Remember that whilst operating the gun, both the dispensing nozzle and the glue itself are hot. Do not allow the nozzle or
glue to come into contact with any part of your body or that of anybody else who may be assisting you.
4.1 PREPARATION
4.1.1 Ensure the work surface is clean and clear before engaging in the task in hand.
4.1.2 Steady the workpiece with an appropriate vice or clamp.
4.1.3 Insert the glue stick firmly into the inlet and plug the glue gun into the mains.
4.2
USING THE GLUE GUN
4.2.1 Squeeze the trigger several times to insert the stick into the gun.
4.2.2 Leave the gun to warm up for approximately 5 minutes.
4.2.3 Squeeze the trigger firmly until glue flows from the nozzle.
4.2.4 When the task is complete, unplug the gun and leave to cool.
4.2.5 No cleaning is required.
DO NOT attempt to remove the glue stick from the gun as this may cause damage to the product and/or
personal injury.
