Operating Instructions for Christmas Tree Stand with Foot Pedal
Preserve these instructions for future reference.
Comply with the assembly procedure; the water container may only be filled after setting the tree
up, otherwise water may spill out and cause damage
3) Delivery of the Christmas Tree Stand
takes place with it closed and the foot pedal in a fixed position (Locking mechanism position
ZU, marked in red) (Fig. 1).
4) Opening the Christmas Tree Stand
To open the Christmas Tree Stand, push the locking mechanism of the foot pedal to the
position AUF (marked in green) (Fig. 2) .
3) Loosening the Clamping Mechanism
Using your foot, press the foot pedal upwards and over the pressure point! (Fig. 3). Keep
your hands away from the clamping mechanism, the clamp jaws are spring-activated.
4) Inserting the Tree
Insert the tree centrally, upright and equally balanced in the Christmas Tree Stand.
(Fig. 4).
5) 5) Closing the Christmas Tree Stand
Activate the foot pedal until the 4 claws firmly grasp the tree (Fig. 5).
Then, with a light joggling of the tree, check to ensure that it is being firmly held; if not, repeat
the process until the tree is well secured.
6) Securing the Christmas Tree Stand
As soon as the tree trunk is firmly restrained, push the slider of the locking mechanism to the
position ZU (marked in red).
7) Filling the water tank
Fill the tank slowly through the filling lattice at the top. Stop pouring as soon as the red
marking on the water level indicator can be seen; the tank is now full. To avoid dehydration
of the tree, regularly check the water level.
8) Care and Maintenance
After use, thoroughly dry and lightly oil all metal parts of the Christmas Tree Stand, store it
at a dry location. Before reusing it, check the cords and all movable parts for sturdiness and
cracks.
