Placing a Document on the Document Table
1.
Open the document cover. Place the original document facing down
on the document table. Make sure that the document is properly
aligned.

Caution:
Never open the document cover beyond its limit by intention.
Note:
An area of up to 2.5 mm from the edge of the document table glass cannot
be scanned.

Make sure the reflective document mat is attached to the document
cover.
3.
Close the document cover gently so that the document does not
move.
Note:
To scan the document properly, close the document cover to prevent
interference from the external light.
