Lower the ink lever in to the locked position.

Close the ink compartment cover if you have standard size ink cartridges installed.
(Fig. 10) If you have extended cartridges installed in the printer, (Fig. 11), you will
need to leave the cover open.

After approximately 1 minute, the ink leer messages will appear on the LCD Panel.
The LCD will indicate that the printer recognized “NON-GENUINE” ink cartridges.
