7 Maintenance/Troubleshooting
7.1 Visual inspection
The Battery Management System (BMS) and the battery(ies) has a self-diagnos-
tic function and provides information on important events on the control of the
device.
The status can be checked via the LEDs.
LED status Description
OFF
Battery Management System (BMS) and battery is
shut down
LED flashes once a
second
Battery Management System and battery is switched
on. Normal operating status
25sec/off, and 5 sec/
flashing
Battery Management System and battery are func-
tioning irregularly.
LED flashes twice a
second
Communication error between the Battery Manage-
ment System and battery.
LED flashes three times
a second
Detects a stop signal for charging/discharging pro-
cess from the Battery Management System
LED dims once a
second
Batteries are updating.
LED is on Battery Management System is updating.

Inspect the energy storage system and the cables for visible external damage
and note the operating status display.
In case of damage, notify your installer. Repairs may only be carried out by
authorised electricians. With correct function, the status LEDs for the batteries
generate a continuous light.
NOTE
The energy storage system should be checked for proper operation
by a qualified electrician at regular intervals.
