Installing components
DANGER
Risk of fire due to incorrectly tightened screw connections!
If the screws on the busbars are not tightened at the required torque,
the high current load in operation can cause significant heat to be
generated. This may result in a fire in some circumstances.

Tighten screws at the required torque of 2 Nm.
CAUTION
Damaged components!
Improper handling may cause damage to components that render
the warranty void.

Components that are damaged are not permitted to be installed.
›
Components must be installed into the battery system with great
care.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to heavy weight of the battery unit!

Observe the weight of the battery unit (>15 kg)
›
Lifting and inserting the batteries necessitates help from a second
person.
Preparation
↻ Preparation for assembling the Powador-gridsave battery system com-
plete.
1. Remove plexiglass cover in the battery system.
2. Remove battery from the original packaging.

Fit the battery (batteries).
