Manifold System Configurations Ordering Guide
Everpure ® Manifolds are available in a variety of pre-configured setups. You are able to mix and match between Everpure’s
wide range of cartridges and various manifolds to create a Single, Twin, Triple or Quad System that meets your specific needs.
Follow these three quick and easy steps to determine the best fit for your application.

WHEN DO I NEED PREFILTRATION?
l
P refiltration is always recommended to ensure you
receive the best performance from your filtration system.
But in areas where there is little concern around
suspended solids, turbidity or particulates, you may
choose to opt for a system without a prefilter.
WHEN DO I NEED POSTFILTRATION?
l
Postfiltration is designed to reduce the likelihood of scale
buildup. You should consider postfiltration any time your
system is delivering water to more than one application.
Postfiltration is highly recommended when you are running
pieces of equipment that either heat water (such as
coffee, espresso), or chill water (such as an ice machine,
or drinking water and fountain drink equipment).
STEP 3: DETERMINE IF YOU NEED PREFILTRATION OR POSTFILTRATION
Configured System Capacities
Configured System Flow Rates
Determine the flow rate you require and then match to the
head and cartridge. Examples:
l
If you need a flow rate of 1.67 gallons per minute (gpm),
you can use a Single head with one filter cartridge, as
long as the filter cartridge is designed for 1.67 gallons
per minute (such as the MC 2 ) or greater.
l
If you need a flow rate of 3.0 gpm, you will need a twin
head with two filter cartridges, as long as the total flow
rate of the two cartridges equals or is greater than 3.0.
To get a 3.0 total flow rate, you could use two MC 2 s
(total flow rate 3.34).
l
If you need a flow rate of 1.0 gpm, but the filter car-
tridge you require is only 0.5 gpm (such as the BH 2 ),
then you would need two cartridges in a twin head.
