11 Decommissioning
11.1 Decommissioning the Sunny Beam
Remove the batteries from the Sunny Beam as illustrated below.
11.2 Disposing of the Sunny Beam
Dispose of the Sunny Beam at the end of its service life in accordance with the disposal regulations
for electronic waste which apply at the installation site at that time. Alternatively, send it back to SMA
Solar Technology AG with shipping paid by sender, and labeled "ZUR ENTSORGUNG"
("for disposal") (the address can be found on Seite 87)
11.3 Disposing of the Batteries
Dispose of the batteries at the end of their service life in accordance with the disposal regulations for
batteries which apply at the installation site at that time.
You can order new batteries for the Sunny Beam from SMA Solar Technology AG (see section
14 "Accessories" (page 86)).
