Locate one of the two 40” brake line tubes. Thread one end of the
line into the remaining port of the tee installed in the previous step.
Route the line back to the second axle. Place a coil in the line to
use up any excess line and then connect the other end of the line
into the hose coming from the second axle. Tighten both fittings.
Thread one end of the second 40” brake line into the remaining
port of the tee installed in the hose from the second axle. Route
the line back to the third axle. Place a coil in the line to use up any
excess line and then connect to the hose coming from the third
axle. Tighten both fittings.
Note that the coil in the line will absorb the vibration created during
towing.
Brakes:
Refer to the BrakeRite brake manual for installation, service and
maintenance.
Tire/Rim Assemblies:
Mount the tire and rim assemblies onto the drum using 1/2” lug hex
nuts and tighten to 110-130 ft./lbs. of torque.
