PWWN
The PWWN is the WWN of an N_Port or NP_Port, and it identifies an N_Port or NP_Port.
The PWWN list in VFM displays the PWWN information of all NPV switches, servers, and
storage devices that have registered with the switch.
2. Click Back to return to the FCoE switch list.
Importing FCoE switches
When you import an FCoE switch to a fabric, the servers and storage devices that have registered with
the FCoE switch are also import to the fabric.
To import FCoE switches:
1. In the FCoE switch list, click Import.
2. Click Select Devices.
3. From the Select Devices window, filter the switches by view or advanced query.
4. Click OK.
If a target switch is absent, this switch is not added to the DC or has been added to a fabric.
NOTE:
For more information about filtering devices by view or advanced query, see " Importing devices ."
5. Remove undesired devices from the Selected Devices area:
a. Select one more devices.
b. Click Delete. A confirmation dialog box appears.
c. Click OK.
6. Click OK to start importing devices. It can take a long time to import a large number of switches.
After the importing is complete, the import result page displays the time, process, and result of the
import operation. The failure reasons are additionally displayed for switches failing to be
imported.
7. Click Back to return to the FCoE switch list.
Synchronizing FCoE switches
Perform this task to synchronize all configurations on FCoE switches to VFM.
To synchronize FCoE switches:
1. In the FCoE switch list, select one or more switches.
