Viewing the B-VLAN plan
1. From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the B-VLAN Plan tab.
The tab displays a toolbar and a B-VLAN list.
Toolbar

Add—Add a B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mapping (see " Adding a B-VLAN to ECT algorithm
mapping ").

Delete—Delete a B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mapping (see " Removing B-VLAN to ECT algorithm
mappings ").

Import from Devices—Import B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings from devices to the B-VLAN
plan (see "
Importing B-VLAN ID to ECT algorithm mappings from devices ").

Refresh—Refresh the B-VLAN plan.
B-VLAN List contents

B-VLAN ID—This field is displayed in different colors to help you identify the ECT algorithm
mapping consistency for the VLAN in the SPB network.
− Red—The B-VLAN ID is not mapped to the ECT algorithm index in this plan on at least one
SPB device. Click the B-VLAN ID to view devices that are incompliant with the plan. To
deploy the B-VLAN plan to all SPB devices, see " Deploying the B-VLAN plan to SPB
devices ."
− Blue—The B-VLAN ID is mapped to the ECT algorithm index in this plan across the SPB
network.

ECT Index—ECT algorithm index mapped to the B-VLAN. To forward traffic to each other in a
B-VLAN, SPB devices must have the same B-VLAN ID to ECT algorithm index mapping.

Modify—Click the Modify icon for a B-VLAN to modify its ECT algorithm index (see

Remapping a B-VLAN to an ECT algorithm index ").
Querying B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings
1. Access the B-VLAN list page.
2. Use one of the following methods:

To perform a quick query, enter a complete B-VLAN ID in the query field, and click the Query
icon .

To perform an advanced query, click the Expand icon next to the query field, specify
query criteria, and then click Query.
Query criteria include the following items:
− B-VLAN ID—Enter a complete B-VLAN ID.
− ECT Index—Select All or an ECT algorithm index in the range of 1 to 16.
Empty fields are ignored.
The B-VLAN List displays all B-VLAN to ECT algorithm mappings that match the query criteria.
