B-VLAN ID—B-VLAN used for transporting customer traffic assigned to SPB VSIs. You can

assign a B-VLAN to multiple SPB VSIs.

{

Multicast Replication Mode—Replication mode for multi-destination traffic, including
broadcast, multicast, and unknown unicast. Available options include transport replication

(also called "tandem replication"), and head-end replication.

NOTE:

For more information about I-SID, B-VLAN, and multicast replication mode configuration, see
"

Adding SPB services

{

SPB Service—SPB service that the VSI provides. Click the SPB service name to display the
topology and details of the SPB service (see "

Viewing the topology and details of an SPB

service

").

{

Modify—Click the Modify icon to change the multicast replication mode. You cannot
change the VSI name, I-SID, or SPB service name.

AC Info
Attachment circuits (ACs) are links that connect SPB devices to customer sites.

{

Refresh—Click this link to refresh AC information.

{

Interface Description—Interface type and number of the interface that is connected to the AC.

{

Service Instance—ID of the Ethernet service instance on the interface. A service instance
identifies a category of incoming customer traffic. The traffic matching criteria are specified by

Encapsulation Type and VLANs fields.

{

Encapsulation Type—Customer traffic encapsulation matching criteria. For more information,
see

Table 6

.

{

VLANs—Outer VLANs assigned to the service instance. This field contains VLANs when

Encapsulation Type is SVLAN ID List or Tagged SVLAN ID List. This field is empty when
Encapsulation Type is not SVLAN ID List or Tagged SVLAN ID List.

{

VSI—SPB VSI assigned to the Ethernet service instance. The VSI provides forwarding services
in the SPB network for customer traffic that is assigned to the Ethernet service instance.

Importing devices

To manage SPB devices, you must first import devices from the DC module to the SPB module.
To ensure a successful import, perform the following tasks before you perform this task:

1.

Enable SPB globally from the CLI on the devices.

2.

Import the devices to the IMC platform. See H3C IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.

3.

Import the devices from the IMC platform to VFM's DC module. See "

Importing a network

device

."

To import devices from the DC module to the SPB module:

1.

From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.

2.

Click the Device Management tab.

3.

Click Import.

4.

Click Select Devices.

5.
