Configuring the MST region parameters
SPBM runs on MSTI 4092. For two SPB neighbors to establish an adjacency, you must activate MSTI
4092 on both of them and make sure their in-between link has connectivity. To forward traffic on the link,
you must also configure the same MST region parameters on the devices, including:
• Format selector. The value for this parameter is fixed at 0.
• Region name.
• Revision level.
• VLAN-to-MSTI mapping table.
Configuring MST region parameters for one device
1. From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the Device Management tab.
3. Click the Operation icon for a device in the Operation column.
4. Select Set MST Region.
5. Configure the MST region parameters:

MST Region—MST region name.

B-VLAN ID—B-VLAN IDs mapped to MSTI 4092.
{
MSTP Revision Level—Revision number of the configuration.
6. Click OK.
Configuring MST region parameters for multiple devices
1. From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the Device Management tab.
3. Select SPB devices from the device list.
4. Click Set MST Region.
5. Configure the MST region parameters:

MST Region—MST region name.
{
B-VLAN ID—B-VLAN IDs mapped to MSTI 4092.
{
MSTP Revision Level—Revision number of the configuration.
6. Click OK.

The SPB module provides the following interface management functions:
• Viewing the interface list
• Querying interfaces
• Viewing interface details
• Enabling or disabling SPBM on interfaces

1. From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
