Configuring protocol packet rate limiting
Overview
The protocol packets in the network are sent to the CPU for processing. The protocol packet processing
rate of a CPU is limited. When plenty of protocol packets are sent to the CPU for processing at the same
time, the CPU might be completely occupied by the protocol packets and cannot process other tasks. As
a result, the device is paralyzed. The protocol packet rate limiting function limits the rate of protocol
packets sent to the CPU, and guarantees the normal operation of the CPU.
Configuration procedure
To configure protocol packet rate limiting:
