c Chapter 1 : Install Global Configurator
• Download from www.extron.com, or
• Install from Extron Software Products CD
c Chapter 2 : Make the IPL T SF cable connections.

c Chapter 3 : Create a Global Configurator (GC) project file.
Add and configure a device. Build and upload the GC
project file. Launch the GlobalViewer ® interface.

2. c Create a new Global Configurator project file.
3. c Add a device.
4 c Define the location of the new device.
5. c Save the new Global Configurator file.
6. c Configure Contacts.
7. c Configure E-mail.
8. c Assign Device Drivers.
9. c Set the Input/Output Configuration.
10. c Set the IR Configuration.
11. c Set Scheduled Actions and E-mail Deliveries.
12. c Set Monitored Conditions.
13. c Build the Global Configurator file.
14. c Upload the Global Configurator file.
15. c Change device settings such as the e-mail server (if
desired).
16. c Launch GlobalViewer.
