Step two: create a new project
To create a new Global Configurator project file

. Click File > New.
The Start Options dialog box opens.

. Select Create a New Project.
3 . Click OK.
The Project Settings dialog box opens (see next page).

. Enter the IP address of the first device you will add to your
GC project file in the Next Assigned IP Address field.
5 . Make the desired date/time selections.
