7: MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES
WARNING!
Do not use the meter when the low battery symbol is displayed.
This may cause the meter to produce inaccurate readings,
and lead the user to believe that no hazard exists, when, in
fact, dangerous voltages or currents are present.
7.1 LCD Backlight / DATA HOLD
The 9007-A incorporates a convenient LCD Backlight.
The Backlight provides illumination for the LCD in dimly
lit conditions. When the button is pressed, the
white LED Backlight will turn on for about 3 seconds,
and then automatically turn off.
7.1.1 The Data Hold function allows the meter to "freeze" a
measurement for later reference.
Press the Backlight and DATA HOLD pushbutton to
“freeze” the reading on the indicator. The indicator
“HOLD” will be appear in the display; Press the
Backlight and DATA HOLD pushbutton to return to
normal operation.
