SYSTEM TEMPERATURE DOES NOT RESPOND AS EXPECTED:
CONTROL TYPE
IMPROPERLY SET:
Set CONTROL TYPE to PID control if you want the temperature controller to adjust the output
power based on the actual temperature and the set temperature. Set CONTROL TYPE to
COMPUTER CONTROL if you want to use an external computer to adjust the power output
manually. See Section 2.3.
IMPROPER
SENSOR TYPE:
Only NTC thermistors of proper type can be utilized. Verify an NTC thermistor is being used and
its Resistance-versus-Temperature (R-T) curve is one that is supported by the controller. Verify
the proper SENSOR TYPE has been selected, see Section 2.8.
DIGITAL DISPLAY (MP-2986) DOES NOT RESPOND AS EXPECTED:
“Serr” DISPLAYED:
DISPLAY FUNCTION ENABLE check box not checked. Make selection (check box) and send values
to controller.
DISPLAY DOES NOT
ALTER SET
TEMPERATURE:
SET TEMP TYPE improperly set. Set to JP3 DISPLAY SET VALUE. This selection is at the bottom of
the pull down box list, and may not be readily noticeable as a selection option. See Section 2.3.
