Troubleshooting Guide
No Audio But The Lights Turn On The AS-703-A
! Make sure the Message Source is playing.
! Make sure the Message Source volume is turned up.
! Make sure that the audio cable is connected from the headphone
jack on the Message Source, to the AUDIO IN jack on the AS-
703-A.
! Make sure the audio cable has the right plug for the AS-703-A
(male phono or RCA).
! Make sure you are NOT using a "Dubbing" audio cord.
! Try repgrogramming the station ID's for each of the phones, start
with 22 and go down from there.
Music does not always shut OFF or turn ON.
! Re-program the STATION ID number in EACH telephone. This
can be done as follows:
1- The phone MUST be "ON HOOK" to program it.
2- Press the [PROGRAM] button.
3- Press
*.
4- Press
#.
5- Press
xx. xx equals a two digit STATION ID code. Each phone
has to have a different code. Codes can range from 22 to 11. Always start
with 22 and work down.
6- Press the [INTERCOM] button.
If the phone accepts the STATION ID it will confirm by RINGING one
time. If it keeps ringing, this indicates that the ID is already being used by
another phone. In this case re-enter a new STATION ID code.
NOTE: If the phones loose power for 5 seconds or more, they will loose
their STATION ID numbers. You can put 4 AA batteries in the phones to
hold this information and protect it against power failures. Look on the
bottom of the phone for the battery compartment access.
