Communication Setup
RCP communications can be changed in this screen.
The setting “UDP” is the default and is highly reccomended for use with the Aspen
routing switchers. WARNING: Contact Sierra Customer service before changing this
setting.
The setting “Panel status update polling rate” controls how fast the RCP will show
crosspoint changes that were originated at other panels. Setting this number lower will
cause updates to happen faster but will also increase traffic on the Ethernet network.
If changes are made, click on Save:
If successful, a “Reset Needed, Reset Now”
window will appear.
If not successful, an error will be displayed.
Change Password
The login password for the panel’s web pages can be changed in this screen.
The factory default is “password”.
