Example: select 390 hex as the 518’s base port address. In this case, the high
address byte is “3”. From the above table it can be seen that shunts E8 and E7
should be removed. The low address byte, “90”, consists of high nibble “9” and low
nibble “0”. From the above table, the high nibble value “9” requires shunts E5 and
E4 to be installed and shunts E6 and E3 to be removed, while low nibble “0”
requires shunts E2 and E1 to be installed.
