Read Firmware Version

This command returns the coprocessor firmware version number times 100. The firmware
version number is printed on the EPROM device plugged into the coprocessor board.

COMMAND: (240), (5), (0)
RESPONSE: (Version_MSB), (Version_LSB)

EXAMPLE:

‘ This code fragment reads and prints the coprocessor firmware version.

CALL Send518byte (BasePort%, 240)
CALL Send518byte (BasePort%, 5)
CALL Send518byte (BasePort%, 0)

Version% = Read518word (BasePort%)

PRINT USING “518 firmware version = ##.##”, Version% / 100!
