Using the System
• Press CANCEL to clear the symbol from the TV screen. This
does not affect the timer, which will operate normally.
• Press the INFO button to see more information on the event
timer. If you do this, you will have the following choices:
– Select the OK (or Cancel ) option to close the information
screen and continue with the event timer.
– Select the Stop Timer (or No ) option to stop the event timer.
Note : This stops only this instance of a Mon.-Fri ., Daily or Weekly
timer. The timer will operate the next time it is scheduled to do so.
To stop all operations of such a timer, you must delete the timer
itself. For a Reminder Event Timer , instead of having the option to
stop the timer, you have the option to tune to the program instead.
Using Quick Record
You can use quick record to very quickly set a one-time, one-program DVR
Event Timer .
1. Select a program you want to watch.
2. Press the RECORD button. The figure below will be displayed.
3. When the Record Remainder of This Event screen displays; select:
• OK to start the recording now; press STOP to end the recording.
• Options to customize the Quick Recording features.
