the signaling, the LED keeps flashing orange for a
predefined time period.

When an Emergency alarm is received
The radio will sound a fixed Emergency alert
tone when it receives an Emergency Alarm (an
Emergency ID should be programmed at first).

When an individual call is received

The radio will sound a personalized alert tone
when it receives an Individual Call (an Individual
Call ID should be programmed at first).

When a group call is received
The radio will sound a personalized alert tone
when it receives a Group Call (a Group Call ID
should be programmed at first).

When calls of other types are received
If the radio is programmed to display IDs, such
IDs will be displayed on the LCD when calls of
other types are received.

Types of Response
Your radio may be set to give any of the following

types of response, when it receives an individual
call or group call:

) The radio gives no response.
)

Silent Alert: The LCD will display “Alert Call
Received”, but no sound alert will be given.

)

Sound Alert: The LCD will display “Alert Call
Received” with sound alert, and only the sound
alert will automatically reset.

)

Select Call Alert: The LCD will display “Select
Call Received” with sound alert. Both the sound
alert and displayed text will automatically reset.

ACK (Acknowledge): If the ACK feature is
enabled, the radio will send back a single tone or
its PTT ID to the calling party when it receives an
individual call or group call.

Note: Please request your dealer to program

the individual call ID, group call ID and
emergency call ID, as well as response
method, ID display feature and ACK fea-
ture of DTMF decoding.
