Note
As with all composites, Multilink Speed is subject to oxygen inhibition. This
means that the surface layer does not polymerize during curing, as it comes
in contact with atmospheric oxygen. In order to avoid this, we recommend
covering the restoration margins with glycerine gel/air block (e.g. Liquid
Strip) immediately after the removal of excess. After complete polymeriza-
tion, the glycerine gel/air block is rinsed off with water.
6. Finishing of the completed restoration
–
Apply finishing and polishing strips in the proximal regions.

Check occlusion and functions and adjust if necessary.

Polish restoration margins with silicone polishers (OptraPol, Astropol
®
,
Politip
®
-F) or discs.
Special note
Multilink Speed should have room temperature when it is applied.
Cool temperatures can render the material difficult to extrude and increase
the processing and curing times.
Warning
Unpolymerized Multilink Speed paste is an irritant. Avoid contact with the
skin, mucous membrane and eyes. If Multilink Speed comes into contact
with the eyes, immediately rinse with copious amounts of water and seek
medical advice. If the material comes into contact with the skin, rinse with
copious amounts of water. Commercial medical gloves do not provide
protection against the sensitizing effect of methacrylates.
Storage
–
Do not use Multilink Speed after the indicated date of expiration.

Cool storage (2–8 °C/36-46 °F) for Multilink Speed.

Store Multilink Speed automix syringe with mixing tip attached after
use.

Mode d'emploi
Description
Multilink Speed est un composite de collage universel, dual et autoadhésif
indiqué pour le collage des restaurations indirectes tout céramique,
composites, céramo-métalliques et métalliques. Lors de l'utilisation de
Multilink Speed, aucun adhésif amélo-dentinaire additionnel n'est
nécessaire.
La seringue auto-mélangeante permet une application directe et rapide du
matériau sur la restauration.
Teinte
Multilink Speed est disponible dans la teinte Transparent.
Temps de travail et temps de prise
Les temps indiqués ci-dessous s'appliquent dès que Multilink Speed est
extrudé de la seringue auto-mélangeante (le temps de travail et de prise
dépendent de la température ambiante) :

Une fois que Multilink Speed est extrudé de la seringue auto-mélangeante,
le processus de polymérisation peut être accéléré par la lumière (lumière
ambiante ou scialytique).
Composition
La matrice monomère se compose de diméthacrylates et de monomères
acides.
La charge minérale se compose de verre de baryum, de tri fluorure
d'ytterbium, co-polymere et de dioxyde de silicium hautement dispersé. Les
composants additionnels sont les catalyseurs, stabilisateurs et pigments de
couleur (< 1%). La taille des particules de charge inorganique est comprise
entre 0.1 µm et 7 µm. La taille moyenne des particules est de 5 µm. La
quantité totale des charges inorganiques est d'approximativement 40% en
vol.
