ATI ® CrossfireX
TM
Technology
Introduction
ATI ® CrossFireX TM technology takes advantage of the increased bandwidth of the PCI
Express TM bus architecture, and features intelligent hardware and software solutions to
deliver earth-shattering PC performance in a multi ATI® GPU solution. It allows up to
four identical PCI Express TM x16 graphics cards.
The CrossFireX TM requires the following components to be available in order to appear
as an option within Catalyst TM Control Center :
■ CrossFireX TM Ready motherboard, such as Foxconn’s Rattler Series.
■ 2 CrossFireX TM graphics cards

Using CrossFireX TM Technology
1. Please uninstall any existing graphics card drivers which would possibly create a
conflict before attempting to install this display card.
2. Install the first Radeon CrossFireX TM graphics card to PCI-E1_16X slot.
3. Install the second Radeon CrossFireX TM graphics card to PCI-E2_16X slot.
4. Align and firmly insert the CrossFire bridge onto the edge connector of each
graphics card. Make sure that the bridge is firmly in place.
