Chapter 1 Product Introduction
LAN PHY
The RTL8201BL is a single-port PHY ceiver with an MII (Media Independent
Interface). It supports 10/100 Mbps data transfer rate.
Flash ROM
This 4 Mb firmware contains the programmable BIOS program.
The IT8705F controller Super I/O provides supports including floppy, serial
ports, and parallel port to rest of platform through the SiS 760 and SiS 964 via
the Low Pin Count (LPC) interface.
DDR DIMM slots
These two 184-pin DIMM slots support up to 2 GB system memory using
unbuffered non-ECC PC3200/2700/2100 DDR DIMMs.
CPU socket
A 754-pin surface mount, Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) Socket for the AMD
Athlon 64 Processor, supports Hyper Transport TM technology with 8/8 links,
up to 1600MT/s bandwidth.
North Bridge controller
The SiS 760, a Hyper Transport TM to AGP/MuTIOL Bridge with Ultra256
GPU, integrates a high performance Hyper Transport TM interface for AMD
Athlon TM 64 processor family, AGP interface, Ultra 256 GPU, local frame
buffer interface and SiS MuTIOL technology, which connects with SiS 964
MuTIOL TM Media IO.
This 20-pin connector connects to an ATX power supply. The power supply
must have at least 1 A on the +5 V standby lead (+5VSB).
ATX 12 V connector
This power connector connects the 4-pin 12 V plug from the ATX 12 V power
supply.
