BREAK IN
• Make sure flywheel moves
freely.
• Check belt tension.
• Check all nuts and bolts for
tightness.
• Clear any obstruction.
• Adjust per directions.
• Tighten if necessary.
8 HOURS
• Check chipper knife for
sharpness.
• Check knife and wear plate
gap.
• Grease bearings on basic
chipper. *
• Grease both bearings that
support drive shaft.
• Grease universal joints on
PTO shaft.
• See knife information.
• See gap setting
information.
• Use high quality multi-
purpose lithium grease.
• Use high quality multi-
purpose lithium grease.
• Use high quality multi-
purpose lithium grease.
40 HOURS
• Replace chipper knife.
• Make sure wear plate has
square edge.
• See knife information.
• See wear plate information.
100 HOURS
• Replace belt.
• Order replacement belts.
* Two pumps of a hand grease gun. Do not over-grease as this may damage the bearing seal.
* Lubrication schedule may vary depending on working environment. Overly dirty and dusty
situations will require more frequent lubrication.
