CONNECTING TO THE GAS SUPPLY

preset for the gas to be used. Otherwise,
make the conversion as described in the
section headed "Adapting to different gas
types". The connection is on the left. If other
heating elements in the vicinity mean that
there is a risk of overheating to temperatures
exceeding 30˚C, the connection must be
made using a rigid pipe (for example, in case
of over another household appliance).
The rigid connection (fi g. 8) is compulsory for
operation with both natural and LPG.In case
of operation with LPG, connection using a
regulation rubber hose (fi g. 9) is permitted
provided inspection of the entire length of the
hose is possible. The hose must be replaced
at the latest at the indicated date and must be
secured at both ends using a standard hose
clamp.Use a pipe marked to prove conformity
with the standards in force.
IMPORTANT:
- After installation, check that all connections
are airtight.
- Use only standard rubber hoses. For LPG,
use a hose which complies with the national
regulations in force.
