B.3.3 Selecting the sewing program
After the machine has been turned on and the control pro-
gram has been activated, the sewing program that had
been selected last is set.
Sewing programs 1 are stored in the memory (M). The
program control memory can store up to 50 sewing pro-
grams (M 01-M 50).
Fig. 18: For each sewing program, up to six seam
numbers 2 (01, 02, 03, 04, 05) can be assigned.
The program control of the machine is equipped at the
factory with two standard programs:
•
Sewing program M 01 with five different seams for cr-
imping over and tucking the pocket edge (see Section
D, Programming Instructions),
•
Sewing program M 02 with one seam each for tuck-
ing the left slash selvage (12) and the right slash sel-
vage (11) on the trousers component.
In addition, this sewing program is programmed for a
test seam (13) that is restricted to two functions:
• Clamp movement from the insertion station to the
sewing head,
• Starting/ending the complete sewing process.
The test seam is used for checking the clamp trans-
