2-2 Configuring the Interface
Sending Multiple Features
You may send multiple features to the interface prior to sending the EOH.
For example:
Syntax &%S0002S0103S0201S0301S0403$
Once the interface receives a $ character, it returns to normal operation.
Initializing Features
Online programming changes are stored temporarily in RAM and are not
made permanent until the interface receives the command to do so. The
following string makes configuration changes permanent.
Syntax &%S95$
After all necessary configurations have been made,
u reset the printer by turning it off and on.
u reset the interface by sending a soft reset command, S%S8FS.
After resetting the interface, the device drops
communications with the host while the printer powers
up. Online configuration should be limited to initial set
up or special files sent between print jobs.
