Please keep to the following rules, when using EAN 128 / Code 128 with
Easy Plug:
•
The bar code data has to be terminated with #G.
• When using data designators with a variable field length, the field must be
closed by .
Exception: The field is placed at the bar code end.
•
Data designator 00 (Serial Shipping Container Code):
Always enter all 18 digits including the check digit after this designator. The
printer always calculates and replaces the check digit automatically. This
enables an automatic numbering of the serial shipping container code. The
offset value has to consider all characters placed on the right side of the
increment digit position.

• Data designator 01 (EAN-No.):
Always enter all 14 digits including the check digit after this designator. The
printer doesn´t check or modify the check digit.
