Woodhaven 4520: Solid Stop - Manual

Identify and verify that you have all the parts listed. Read
the instructions at least once, familiarizing yourself with the
parts and assembly options before beginning assembly. You'll
need a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a 7/16" wrench for assembly.
The Stop Base (4520A) has a beveled edge on each
side to allow reading a tape measure from either side. There
are six holes through the base. The two most forward holes
(3/8" from the edge) are where the Ultra Track (4412 or
4520D) get mounted. Install a washer (WB002) on two of
the 3/4" bolts (HB030), insert them through the two holes
in the Stop Base for mounting the Ultra Track and start
an oval nut on the end of each bolt. Slide the oval nuts on
to the T-slot of one of the Ultra Tracks (4412 or 4520D),
position the face of the Ultra Track flush to the edge of
the Stop Base and tighten the bolts. See fig. 1 & 2.
Insert the head of the two 1" bolts (HB040) in
the top T-slot of your Ultra Track fence. Depending on
whether or not your Ultra Track fence has a 3/4" thick
fence face, you'll use two of the remaining four holes in
the Stop Base to mount it to your Ultra Track fence. Insert
the Stop Base over the bolts and install a 1/8" spacer, a
washer (WB002) and a ratchet handle (5860) on each
bolt, then tighten the ratchet handles. See fig. 1 & 2.
Insert the head of two 3/4" bolts (HB020) in the T-slots
in the face (near the top and bottom) of the Ultra Track
(4412). Install the Extension Plate (4520B) over the bolts,
followed by a washer and knob (5540) on each bolt. Position
the Extension Plate so it overhangs the end of the Ultra Track
3/4" and tighten the knobs. Screw the Plywood Extension
(4520C) to the end of the Extension Plate using the wood
screws (STP001). The Plywood Extension is a sacrificial part
that you can replace as often as necessary. See fig. 3 & 4.
