Configuring RemotePoll Monitor
RemotePoll Monitor connects to remote locations and can be used with TurningPoint Cloud, TurningPoint 5, TurningPoint 2008
and TurningPoint Anywhere.
IMPORTANT
TurningPoint 2008, TurningPoint Anywhere and TurningPoint 5 support connection to RemotePoll via
ResponseWare web connection or via Direct IP. TurningPoint Cloud requires connection via Direct IP.
Configuring a ResponseWare Connection
Prerequisites
A Session ID from the host computer is required to connect via ResponseWare.
1 Open RemotePoll Monitor.
2 Select ResponseWare as the connection type.
3 Enter http://remotepoll.turningtechnologies.com in the Server URL field.
4 Enter the Session ID in the Session ID field.
5 Click Connect.

Configuring a Direct IP Connection
Locate your Host (IP address) in the Settings/Preferences section of TurningPoint Cloud, TurningPoint5, TurningPoint 2008 or
TurningPoint AnyWhere.
TurningPoint 5 or TurningPoint Cloud
1 Click the Preferences icon, select Connections and scroll to RemotePoll in the right navigation pane.
2 Check the box labeled Enable RemotePoll Support.
