You may have attempted to bring in the waveform without first assigning a file
identifier. Switch the display off using the screen Stop button, assign an
identifier or file string and location name, then select Start.
You chose a file striong or extension that was not compatible with the type
needed for storage of waveforms. Try entering a simple file name such as
WV20 in the default (Local) folder, then clicking Ok. You can verify this save
by clicking the File Browser to see if the new file name is there.
