6.8 Alarm Levels
The alarm level settings for the instrument may be viewed via the menu button. These values represent the alarm set-points which
have been programmed into the instrument at the factory.
Press the menu button until, the user is prompted to press the up arrow key to view the readings: -
Sequential operation of the up arrow key shows in turn the alarm set points for each sensor. A typical display sequence for a 4-gas
instrument would be:

N OTE : Some units are dual range LEL and % vol.
Alarm setting for the Flammable sensor - one setting
For Example :
Alarm settings for toxic sensor, Hydrogen sulphide - three settings
For Example :
Alarm settings for the Oxygen sensor - two settings
For Example :
Alarm settings for infrared sensor, Carbon Dioxide - three settings
Important: - The Flammable sensor alarm setting cannot be set above 60% LEL.
