6.3 Peak Readings mode
The instrument can be set to measure and hold the highest flammable and toxic gas readings. For oxygen sensor the highest and
lowest readings are held. This feature is particularly useful for carrying out pre-entry testing for gas. For example, by lowering the
instrument into a manhole and then withdrawing it to observe the peak readings to ensure that it is safe to enter.
To turn Peak Readings on / off, press buttons B and C together until the display reads: -

When Peak Readings is on, the display alternates between :-

and or Example If levels have been detected.
To clear Peak reading and reset the display press buttons B and C together.
To take additional Peak reading you must clear the Peak reading mode.
Audio and visual alarms will not automatically clear and can not be cleared until after all alarm levels have returned to a non alarm
condition.
To clear the audio and visual alarm press button F on the top panel.
