Pull the battery out of the
holder, as shown.

Insert the new date battery
into the holder, with the
negative terminal (–) facing
up.

Replace the date battery
holder back into its original
position, and close the CF
card slot cover.
The LCD monitor also displays the Set Date/
Time menu the very first time you turn on the
camera. This is normal, and does not mean
that the date battery is depleted.

menu, proceed to set the
current date and time

If you should dispose of your
camera, first remove the button
battery for recycling according
to the recycling system of your
country.
