History
When a third-party power meter
( page 15 ) is paired, the Edge records
points every second. Recording
points every second uses more of the
available memory on the Edge.

averaging for cadence and power data,
see pages 15–16 .
Changing the Data Storage
Location
1. Select MENU > > System >
Data Recording > Record To.
2. Select internal Storage (device
memory) or Memory Card
(optional memory card is required).
Installing a microSD Card
You can purchase microSD memory
cards from an electronics supplier, or
purchase preloaded detailed map data
cards from your Garmin dealer.

2. To insert the card, press it in until it
clicks.
Data Management
You can use the Edge as a USB mass
storage device.
NOTE: The device is not compatible
with Windows ® 95, 98, Me, or NT. It is
also not compatible with Mac ® OS 10.3
and earlier.
