9. Replace clutch nut and screw C. After doing this, turn clutch toward you to disengage sew­

ing mechanism. If the needle still moves up and down as you turn the hand wheel, again

remove the clutch nut, give washer D a half turn and replace the nut.

10. Replace rear cover.
