NEEDLE AND THREAD TABLE
Use System 705 needles. The size of the
needle should conform to the size of the
thread and both should be suitable to the
material. The same size and type thread
should be used in the bobbin as on the upper
part of the machine for ordinary sewing.
Never use a bent needle nor one with a blunt
point.
For successful sewing of stretch fabrics use
the stretch stitch needles with blue shank.

CHANGING NEEDLES
Raise needle bar to its highest position by
turning the hand wheel towards you. Loosen
the needle clamp screw, and remove old or
damaged needle.
Holding the new needle with the flat side
away from you, slip it up into the needle bar
as far as it will go. Tighten the needle clamp
screw.
