The Stitch artd Its Uses
Use this stitch when you want a narrow
seam that you do not need to press
open flat- It is ideal lor 1/4" seams on
knits or on medium to heavyweight
woven fabrics where you want a narrow
seam. It is also great tor makirrg elastic
swim wear.
Here's How
Place the fabric under the presser toot
so that the stitches are made over the
edge.
Or, place your fabric to allow a 5/8"
seam, then trtm seam allowance after.
NOTE. When using stretch knit
fabric, use a blue stretch
fabric
needle
which
effectively prevents skipped
stitches.
