6.0 unloading the Pistol
6.1 unloading the Pistol (magazine not empty)
- Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
1. depress the magazine catch.
2. remove the magazine.
3. Pull the slide back to the rear and lock open with the slide stop.
4. Visually and manually check the chamber to ensure the pistol is
completely free of ammunition.
5. depress the slide stop, causing the slide to close.
