USER MANUAL - INTERVENTIONAL SUPINE PILLOW SYSTEM
PRODUCT USE
Primarily designed to facilitate cervical transformational injections, but useful for
other antero-lateral procedures such as facet injections, medial branch blocks,
stellate ganglion blocks, scalene brachial plexus blocks and discography.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
• Not intended to immobilize the head. Patient may move the head during procedures.
• Maximum Operating Weight: 20 lbs. (9 kg)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The
Pillow is designed to cradle the head and prevent rollback. The beveled
surfaces create supportive surfaces for the patient’s neck muscles and imrove
access for procedures.
The
Support Wedge is designed to both raise the head and create a
longer transitional area of support under the back for greater relaxation.
The thinner end should be located inferiorly and may be moved superi-
orly or removed.
