New Plugins
Support for numerous new and updated plugins has been added since the release of Receptor software
version˛1.3. Some plugins install using the new “User Installable” method, and some install using the good old
“built-in and iLok’d” method. The following sections list all the new and updated plugins.
New User Installable Plugins
Since the release of Receptor v1.3, Muse Research has added support for the following plugins (using
Receptor’s “User Installable” method):

• East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold

• IK Multimedia Sonik Synth 2

All the plugins listed above are installed via Receptor’s “User Installable” feature. Unlike the iLok protected
plugins that ship pre-installed on Receptor (or that you can download/purchase from www.plugorama.com),
the above plugins are all packaged Windows VST plugins that you can purchase at retail and install on your
Receptor.
To install these plugins:
1 Purchase the plugin from your favorite music retailer.
2 Point your browser at www.plugorama.com and download a special “Receptorized” installer for the plugin
you wish to install.
3 Follow the instructions on plugorama.com to install the plugin and any support files, and to authorize the
plugin using the developer’s own methodology (rather than the iLok protection used by “built-in” plugins).
New “Built-in” Plugins
The following Receptorized plugins all use Receptor’s standard “built-in” + iLok method of installation. These
plugins ship pre-installed on new (v1.4) units built by Muse Research and, as such, come with the same 30-day
fully-functional demo period as other “built-in” plugins. Customers upgrading Receptor from a previous
software version can download these plugins from www.plugorama.com and try them out (for free) for 30 days.

• Sonalksis DQ1 Dynamic Equalizer
