TB-8/TB-9 - General Purpose Input Connection
General-purpose inputs may be used in conjunction with the programmable input/
output feature of the Doors access control software. The normal state of these inputs
can be either a closed circuit that will be opened when an input is generated or an open
circuit that will be closed when an input is generated. No voltage is applied at these
inputs; the circuits are either opened or closed to indicate an input event. Please refer
to the General Purpose Input section on page 34 for more information on general-
purpose inputs and input devices.
For examples of typical general purpose input connections, refer to Table 33 and
Figure 10-16 on page 90 and make the following connections.
