Viewing web pages
When opening a website, you can navigate on web pages by sliding your
finger on the screen in any direction to locate the information you want
to view.
To zoom in/out of a web page
Pinch/Spread your finger on the screen to zoom out/in of the web page.
To quickly zoom into a section of a web page, double-tap on the section
you want to view. To return to normal zoom level, double-tap again.
To find text on a web page
•
Touch the Menu key from web page screen, then touch Find on page.
•
Enter the text or phrase you want to find.
•
The first word with matching characters will be highlighted on the
screen, and subsequent matches will be boxed.
•
Touch the up or down arrow to switch to the previous or next matching
items.
•
When finished, you can touch
or the Back key to close the search
bar.
Further operations for the text on a web page
You can copy, share or search the text from a web page:
•
Touch and hold the text to highlight the text.
•
Move two tabs to select the text.
•
Touch SELECT ALL to select all words in this web screen.
•
Touch the icon to show further actions, including share and search on
the page or the web.
•
When finished, touch
or the Back key to deactivate the mode.
To open new window/switch between windows
Multiple windows can be opened at the same time for your convenience.
•
Touch
to open all windows' thumbnails.
•
Slide up and down to view all windows, touch one to view it.
•
Touch
to open a new window.
•
Touch Menu key and New incognito tab to open a window without
any trace.
•
To close a window, touch
on the window you want to close or slide
it sideways.
Other options
•
Refresh
To refresh the current page.
•
Forward
To forward the pages you have opened.
•
Bookmarks
To see the bookmarks and browsing history.
•
Save to
bookmarks
To add the current website page as bookmark.
•
Share page
To share the current page with your friends via various
ways, like Message, Email, Bluetooth, etc.
•
Find on page To input contents you want to find on the current
page.
•
Request
desktop site
To enable/disable computer version websites.
•
Save for
offline reading
To save the web page for offline reading. You can find
it by touching the Menu key, then Bookmarks\
Saved pages.
•
Exit
To close all tabs and exit.
Touch the icon on the left of the URL, you can view more
information about the current page.
