Cassette Deck
Loading a cassette
• Press
STOP'OPEN

-* The cassette compartment door opens.
• Load the cassette with the open side to the front and the full spool
to the left.
• Close the cassette compartment door.
Tape Playback

Press
SOURCE
to select TAPE.

Load a cassette in cassette deck.
3 Press
PLAY
► to start playback.
• Press
PAUSE II
to interrupt playback.

Press
STOP»OPEN
to end playback.
Note:
To change to other source mode (TUNER or CD) from the TAPE mode,
the tape deck must be in the stop mode.
Fast winding/rewinding

You can fast forward or rewind the tape by pressing
SEARCH ►►
or-M.

Press
STOP*OPEN
BA to stop fast forwarding or rewinding.
Note:
It is possible to fast forward or rewind a cassette when the set is in
another source mode (e.g. tuner mode)
Recording Operation

Press
SOURCE
to select CD or TUNER.

Load a blank cassette In cassette deck.
3 Press
RECORD
• on cassette deck to start recording.

Press
STOP»OPEN
BA on cassette deck to stop recording.

CD Synchro-start Recording

Press
SOURCE
to select CDC.
2 Load a disc into the disc tray.
3 Load a blank cassette (full spool to the left) into cassette deck.
• If desired, you can program the discs and its tracks in the order
you want to be recorded (see Programming Tracks).

Press
RECORD
• on cassette deck to start recording.
CD starts playing after a seven-second delay to prevent
recording on the transparent leader tape portion at the
beginning of the tape.

STOP
B on CD and
