Selecting a desired track
Selecting a desired track at the stop mode
1 Press SEARCH or^»( W or M on the remote control)
until the desired track appears on the display.
2 Press PLAY«PAUSE Hi (or Hi on the remote control) to start
playback.
The selected track number and elapsed playing time appear on
the display.
Selecting a desired track during play mode
1 Press SEARCH or^H( N or M on the remote control)
until the desired track appears on the display.
—The selected track number and elapsed playing time appear on
the display.
Searching for a particular passage during play
• Press and hold SEARCH or^H( M or W on the remote
control) until the desired passage is located. During the search the
sound is played faster than normal at a reduced volume. Play
returns to normal when SEARCH or ^1 is released.
Shuffle
SHUFFLE - playing all the available discs and their tracks or the tracks
in a disc in random order. It can also be used during program mode.
To shuffle all the discs and tracks
1 Press SHUFFLE.
—The SHUFRE flag and FILL appear on the display.
• The discs and the tracks will now be played in random order until
you press STOP.
2 Press SHUFFLE again to resume normal play.
— The SHUFRE flag disappears from the display.
-* The CD will continue to playback the current track.
To shuffle all tracks in a particular disc
1 Press SHUFFLE.
The SHUFFLE flag and FILL appear on the display.
2 Press the desired 7 CD DIRECT PLAY button (1 to 7) within 1
second.
—The SHUFFLE flag, the disc number and DISC appear on the
display.
3 Press SHUFFLE again to resume normal play.
The SHUFRE flag disappears from the display.
The CD will continue to playback the current and following
tracks.
